About the group
· Do you enjoy a good, healthy walk and improving your fitness?
· Would you like to combine that walk with learning more about birds and other wildlife?
· Do you enjoy meeting friendly, like minded people?
Then why not join the growing list of members who take part in our ‘Local Patch’ events. Both members and non members of the RSPB welcome as well as family groups and anyone wanting a good few hours in the great outdoors. Membership of the group is FREE! although donations are welcome. If you would like to have fun, and meet like minded people contact us and help make a difference for birds, wildlife and yourself.
Run by RSPB volunteers, you can be as involved as much or as little as you like. You can just take part in the events program or help with the running of the group. Whatever you do, will be helping make a real difference to conservation in the UK.
While we are primarily concerned with the protection of wild birds, we are also here to promote conservation of all wildlife in the area and help you to get the most out of your 'local patch'.
