About the group
Improve your fitness, meet friendly, like-minded people in the Sherburn in Elmet area, while learning more about birds and wildlife. Our walks suit all abilities and, along with other events, are open to non members of the RSPB. Accompanied children and young adults are also welcome.
Run by RSPB volunteers, you can be as involved as much or as little as you like. You can just take part in the events program or help with the running of the group. Whatever you do, will be helping make a real difference to conservation in the UK.
While we are primarily concerned with the protection of wild birds, we are also here to promote conservation of all wildlife in the area and help you to get the most out of your 'local patch'.
We are always looking for new members to join the group, so please get in touch. Currently. there is no joining/membership fee and most events are also free.
